tolerance, truth, and charity. We hope you’ll join us and watch
the show at www.scottishrite.org on Saturday, May, 19, 2018, at
6:30 PM EST for our next Celebrating the Craft!
But don’t take it from me; take it from brethren who have
been with us since day one!
The Valley of Phoenix has participated
in this event since the inception. We
open up the lodge for a family-friendly gathering and have large
screens set up to watch the program.
We have many fun activities going
on such as face painting and balloon
clowns for the kids (and adults too).
Of course there are refreshments and
lots of fellowship going on as well.
This is a great opportunity for the Valley to showcase who we
are and what we do to the non-Mason. It stimulates interest and
hopefully new candidates. The Valley of Tucson and Valley of
Phoenix have also sent some of our finest talent to the show—
this includes a magician, a western swing dancer with his wife,
and last year a musician who have all been featured on the cov-
er of the Journal. Also our very own Gil Fox from Tucson has
served as co-host in Washington for the past couple years.
The Valley has raised funds and also has been a generous
donor and supporter through the years, and we hope to continue
in the future.

able. CTC reminds us of who we are,
what we do, and what the Fraternity
means to us individually.

Help Us to Promote
“The Rite Change”!
Celebrating the Craft (CTC) is right around
the corner and we need your help!
The Development Office has started a spare-change collection drive called, “The Rite Change .” The
“Rite Change” sticker (right) already has been sent to all
Valley secretaries in hopes that each Valley and those
brethren with businesses will place a labeled jar in a
prominent location to collect donations .
All contributions go towards Scottish Rite 501(c)( 3)
charities in the Southern Jurisdiction, such as the
RiteCare Scottish Rite Childhood Language Program!
If you are interested in a sticker for a jar, please
contact Jess Blossfeld, Development Manager, at
email@example.com or 202–777–3187.
Please return all jars and donations to your Valley
Secretary by May 1, 2018.
We want to thank you in advance for your help in
making “The Rite Change .”
